Battle of the Books Ocean Palms Elementary School (OPE) took part in the North Battle of the Books sponsored by the library media specialists from St. Johns County School District.  At OPE the team composition was third through fifth grade students who had read almost all of the fifteen Florida Sunshine StateYoung Readers Award Books (SSYRA). Congratulations to the Ocean Palms Elementary School Battle of the Books team for their participation. Ocean Palms will participate in the 2012 St. Johns County Battle of the Books for the North on May 10.  School determination of the team will precede the battle date.                                                   .
