Our Neighborhoods The 26,000 books are divided into neighborhoods in the library. The "E" Neighborhood E is for Everybody books that have pictures and words.The interest level of these books is Pre-K through third with a reading level from 0.5 to 6.7. The "ER" Neighborhood The Early Reader group (ER) consists of books that are stories which consist of more words than pictures:  The interest level is grades one through three with reading levels from 1.0 to 3.9.  Some of these books are non-fiction. The "F" Neighborhood Fiction (F) books are also called chapter books.  These books have an interest level of third through fifth grade students and have reading levels from 3.0 to 7.9.
