Dear Ocean Palms Families,

Thank you to all those who were able to join us for our annual STEM nights. Both evenings were filled with fun for the whole family. Everyone enjoyed various hands on activities ranging from escape room challenges to roller coaster models and parachute prototypes. Thank you parents and family members for coming out and celebrating STEM with students!

We have some important dates and events in the near future you do not want to miss. OPE’s Spring Family Night, Book Fair and Art Show sponsored by Ponte Vedra Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is less than 12 days away. Student artwork will line the hallways as you make your way to the games and festivities on our PE courts and back field. Attractions include carnival games, inflatable obstacle courses, face painting, balloon animals, and water balloon challenge. That’s right students will have the opportunity to throw water balloons at Mrs. Cantwell, Mr. Morgan and some of their favorite teachers. Don’t forget to RSVP for your Chick-Fil-A dinner by Monday, February 24th.

Ocean Palms Elementary PTO is hosting it’s 11th annual fundraiser “Otterpalooza” on Saturday, April 4, 2020 (6:30-10:30) at the Ponte Vedra Con-cert Hall and we are asking for your support to make it a great success. Our main goal is to raise enough funds to provide a much needed new playground structure for our students, in addition to, providing classroom enhancements, professional development opportunities for our teachers, and continue our tech-nology advancements in the classrooms.
